Mike Freer, Member of Parliament for Finchley and Golders Green, spoke in the House of Commons this week as he questioned International Development Minister, James Wharton, on the issue of HIV/AIDS.

Retail Sales Surge in Boost to UK Economy

According to new Office of National Statistics (ONS) figures, the UK retail sector grew by 1.9 per cent in the last month.

The figure is almost 1.5 per cent higher than the 0.5% growth forecast for this period, demonstrating the fastest growth rate in retail sales in 14 years.

Mike Freer Calls for Action on Domestic Abuse

MP Mike Freer raised the issue of domestic abuse in the House of Commons today.

The North London MP was speaking at a session of Home Office Oral Questions, during which MPs are given the opportunity to question Government Ministers from the Home Office.
