Mike Freer MP today welcomed the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt Hon Philip Hammond MP, to the constituency during a visit to Pentland Brands.
The Chancellor was visiting Pentland to hear about the company’s success and global operations. He met with the Chairman of the Pentland Group Stephen Rubin (pictured shaking the Chancellor’s hand), Chief Executive, Andy Long (pictured left, holding an umbrella) and other members of the team.
Commenting after the visit, Mike said, “It was a real pleasure to bring the Chancellor to visit Pentland Brands in my constituency. Pentland is a world-renowned family-run business and a fantastic example of British ingenuity and hard work.”
Pentland, based in Finchley, is an international company which started life in the UK. It owns many household brands including Berghaus, Speedo, and Hunter wellies.
