The Government has launched the National Disability Strategy. Following over 14,000 responses to our Disability Survey, alongside engagement with over 200 regional disability charities and organisations across the UK.
The Strategy brings together departments from across Government to ensure that we can support disabled people and improve their day to day lives. It includes over 100 commitments and Ministerial Champions across Whitehall to help deliver the ambitious strategy.
The Strategy delivers £300m for Special Education and £573m in Disabled Facilities Grant.
