Kickstart scheme launched to help young people into work

Last week, the Government has launched the £2bn Kickstart Scheme to help young people into employment following the pandemic.

An employer can offer a six month placement to someone aged between 16 and 24, with the position fully funded by the Government. Employers will receive funding for 100% of the relevant National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a week, plus associated employer National Insurance contributions and employer minimum auto-enrolment pension contributions.
