Mike Freer MP held a third Pensioners Information and Advice at St Paul’s Church Finchley, attended by over three hundred local residents. The event, to which older people from across the area were invited, brought together over twenty five local and national organisations, including charities, social clubs, the Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade and local authority services.
Commenting, Mike said, “Thank you to all those who attended my Pensioners Information and Advice Fayre this morning and especially to St Paul’s Church Finchley who kindly hosted us. There was a great deal of support, advice and information on offer for older people. It was a really enjoyable event and I hope everyone found it helpful.”
Mike intends to hold more events like this in the New Year and will let residents know once a date has been selected.
