Finchley and Golders Green MP, Mike Freer, today visited the ‘Catcher in the Rye' pub to see the completed renovation work.
The local pub, on Regents Park Road, was recently purchased by the Stonegate Pub Company and refurbished at a cost of £270,000.
Commenting, Mike said, “Pubs like the Catcher in the Rye are real hubs for the community and places we should cherish. With so many pubs closing across the country, it is really good to see the investment and renovation work that has gone into making this an even nicer place to spend time with friends.”
The company has three pubs in the constituency as part of a 700 strong portfolio. They also provide apprenticeships and careers in management.
