At this year’s Conservative Party Conference, Mike Freer MP took time out to meet with the National Autistic Society (NAS) to discuss their work and how his constituency can be more autism-friendly.
During the meeting, they briefed him about the charity’s ‘Autism Hour’ event, taking place next week. From Saturday 6th to Saturday 13th October, over 10,000 shops and businesses across the country will be turning down music and other noise, dimming lights, and sharing information about autism with their employees.
If you would like to visit or support one of your local shops taking part in Autism Hour, you can find out more on the NAS website here: www.autism.org.uk/get-involved/tmi/autism-hour/map.aspx
