This week Mike Freer MP was able celebrate the winners of his 2021 Christmas card competition with Boris Johnson in Parliament.
The winning design was drawn by Cecilia from Claremont Primary School and there were three cards that were ranked ‘Highly Commended’. These were Fiona, also from Claremont, Hueyna from Childs Hill Primary School and Angelina from St Agnes Catholic Primary School.
Commenting on this year’s competition, Mike said:
“I am delighted that Cecilia’s design was the overall winner for my 2021 Christmas card competition. It was an extremely difficult choice, as many entries were of an exceptionally high standard and I am sure Claremont will be rightly very proud.
“Along with their winning prizes, I am pleased that this year I will be inviting Cecilia her parents and teachers; along with the parents and teachers of those ranked Highly Commended, to an evening in Parliament (as soon as the situation allows) to celebrate their excellent designs.”
Mike Freer has been holding his annual Christmas card competition since his first term as MP for Finchley and Golders Green.
