Barnet Clinical Commissioning Group has today announced that the proposed relocation of Ravenscroft Medical Centre to Finchley Memorial Hospital will no longer go ahead, as one of the parties involved has pulled out.
The CCG will be writing to patients and key stakeholders in the coming days to inform them that the move will no longer be taking place.
I have lobbied against these plans on behalf of constituents over many months, and have met with the CCG, the Secretary of State and other Health Minister’s to express the concerns of both myself and residents over the proposed move. This announcement is great news for the local community. It has been a terrific example of where local residents coming together can make a real difference. I was delighted to support my constituents in this campaign.
