As I have often said, I have always been against the proposed relocation of Ravenscroft Medical Centre to Finchley Memorial Hospital. I have met with the CCG and other parties on multiple occasions to lobby against the proposals and have committed to taking the matter to Health Ministers.
On Tuesday evening, I met with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Rt Hon Matt Hancock MP to raise the concerns of both myself and residents to the proposed move. The Secretary of State has advised me that he will now be contacting NHS England directly on the matter. I hope residents agree this is a positive step forward in preventing the move.
I will continue to keep residents updated.
