It was a pleasure to welcome residents from Finchley and Golders Green to the St Pauls Centre on Long Lane for my sixth Over 55s Advice and Information Fayre.
They had the opportunity to hear from over 30 charities and organisations. Many constituents who contact me are unaware of organisations that are available to provide help and information, so it is great to get these organisations together in one place for the benefit of the local community.
I would like to say a huge thank you to these organisations for coming along today, as well as for the support they provide.
The organisations and charities who attended were: Met Police; LFB; DWP; Jewish Deaf Association; Barnet Hospital; U3A; Barnet Homes; Boost; CommUnity Barnet; Home Instead; LBB; Barclays; The Finchley Charities; Age UK; Barnet Carers; CAB; Thames Water; Cadent; Centrica; E.ON; Smart Energy; St Barnabas; Jewish Volunteering Network; London Vision; Artsdepot; Barnet Walking Football; Dementia Club UK; 5 Bells computer club; North London Hospice; Yoga For All; Diabetes UK; BBSI; Twinning Enterprise; The Finchley Society.
