Vaccine

This morning, I went to see the vaccination rollout in action at Temple Fortune Medical Centre. I saw the little bottle of magic being dispensed by the amazing team of Doctors, pharmacists and volunteers.

The efforts of the team at Temple Fortune Medical Centre are part of a huge nationwide effort that has seen over 7.9 million vaccinati administered so far, with the NHS well on the way to meeting the target of vaccinating the top four groups by 15th February. These groups include all over 70s, frontline NHS and care staff, as well as all those who are Clinically Extremely Vulnerable.

I would like to thank everyone within the NHS, as well as all volunteers who are taking part in this vaccination programme. Their efforts move us one step closer to being able to move out of lockdown and back to normality with every injection.
