On Monday, I visited Kinloss Synagogue to commemorate those who lost their lives after Israeli Independence . I attended the event at Kinloss Synagogue with Rabbi Mirvis.
Later that week, I chaired the All Party Group on Anit-Semetisim. Chief Rabbi Mirvis was again in attendance. He was questioned by MPs and Peers on anti-Semitism in modern Britain. As ever, it was a pleasure to welcome the Chief Rabbi to Parliament. I am pictured above chairing the discussion which was also attended by former Conservative leader Michael Howard.
One of the most interesting debates that I attended this week was one on the use of self-build homes. Whether this style of new build homes will be popular in Finchley and Golders Green in unknown!
This week, I also had the pleasure of speaking to students at the University of Kent in Canterbury. The evening was a success with a number of students and local residents asking some searching questions.
As of late, I have been trying to take my surgeries to new places in the constituency in an attempt to engage with an ever larger audience. On Friday, I was in Waitrose North Finchley between 10am and 11am discussing a number of local issues with constituents. Please do keep an eye on the Mobile Surgery section of my website to see where I will be heading next.
