Revisiting the Past

A few years ago I visited Auschwitz expecting to be overwhelmed with emotion. I was, but not the emotion I was expecting. I wrote a column for the local paper about how it made me feel. On Holocaust Memorial Day, I thought I'd share it.

Local MP signs HET Book of Commitment

MP, Mike Freer, has offered his support in commemorating Holocaust Memorial Day by signing the Holocaust Education Trust’s (HET) Book of Commitment.

Monday 16th January:

ONS: Unemployment Falls & Wages Rise

ONS figures show that the number of people without a job has fallen by 52,000 to 1.6 million.

The figures today show that those claiming unemployment benefit fell by 10,100 in the month leading up to Christmas.

Christmas Card Competition 2016

MP for Finchley & Golders Green, Mike Freer, visited 8 schools to present awards to the overall winner and runners-up of his 2016 Christmas card competition.  

This year Mr Freer received hundreds of entries from 8 local schools.
