As the holidays commence, Mike Freer MP has celebrated the Christmas card winners for 2022 with the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak in his office.
After an outstanding array of choice, the winning entry was designed by Helena from All Saints’ Primary, with three other designs being ranked as ‘Highly Commended’. The winners of that title are Ashley and Tiana from Brookland Junior School along with Eva from St Agnes Catholic Primary School, all with exceptionally creative designs.
Mike will visit all the schools who have participated, including All Saints on the 2nd of December, and visited Brookland Junior Primary and St Agnes Catholic Primary on the 15th December.
Speaking about this year’s competition, Mike said:
I am delighted with this year’s competition results and the winner, Helena. The choice was extremely difficult as there were a variety of brilliant drawings from all the schools, and I am sure the teachers at All Saints and Helena’s parents will be proud of the results.
As well as the prizes for both the winner and the Highly Commended designs, I will be inviting Helena and her family into the House of Commons for tea.
This competition has been held by Mike Freer, MP for Finchley and Golders Green, since he was first elected in 2010.
