UK Wage Growth Outpaces Inflation

National figures announced by the Office for National Statistics last week show that in the three months to December, wages grew 2.6% on the year.

My Position on EU Nationals

I have been in regular contact with Ministers and the Home Secretary about ensuring EU citizens have security post Brexit. I understand that only 2 EU countries remain unwilling to reach agreement now, despite the Government’s best efforts.

Article 50: Democracy is Precious

I have received a large volume of emails about the decision to trigger Article 50 which formally starts the process of leaving the EU. I campaigned for Remain in the referendum. I delivered leaflets, spoke to as many residents as I could and ran street stalls for the Remain campaign.

Trump's Immigration Policy

Revisiting the Past

A few years ago I visited Auschwitz expecting to be overwhelmed with emotion. I was, but not the emotion I was expecting. I wrote a column for the local paper about how it made me feel. On Holocaust Memorial Day, I thought I'd share it.
