Many constituents have been in touch in recent times regarding the 125, 143 and 326 bus routes.
I have contacted Transport for London regarding these routes and have received some further information.
TfL consulted on proposals to amend these routes in October 2017, The next steps were then published in September 2018. This report can be seen here. At the time of publishing the report, TfL had not yet confirmed when the route changes would be implemented.
These plans are now completed, and Transport for London have outlined these plans as can be seen below:
- From Saturday 25 May 2019 we will extend route 125 between Finchley Central and Colindale station. Route 125 buses will run between Winchmore Hill and Colindale every 10 minutes Monday to Saturday daytimes and every 15 minutes Sunday daytime and each evening. We will not reduce the frequency of route 125 as previously indicated in our consultation report.
- We will proceed with the re-routing of route 326 towards Barnet. Route 326 will run along the north end of Hendon Lane, serving stop G at St Mary’s Church, and will no longer serve stop R in Gravel Hill or stop J in Regents Park Road. We currently plan to make this change from Saturday 29 June 2019. There will be no change to the route towards Brent Cross.
- Following a further review of our proposals, we have decided not to implement the change to route 143. Route 143 will continue to run in both directions along Gravel Hill and Regents Park Road.’
