Mike Freer, Member of Parliament for Finchley and Golders Green, today cut the ribbon at the reopening of the Barclays Temple Fortune branch after a major refurbishment.
The branch, which originally opened on this site in 1937, has been redesigned and refurbished and features a mix of new self–service technology and traditional counters.
Commenting after the event Mike said, “Having worked for Barclays in my life before politics, it was great to be back as a guest at this reopening ceremony. I know many local people and businesses rely on the services offered here and they will be very pleased with the refurbishment and investment that has gone into this historic branch.”
On the day, the branch held a fraud awareness event to help customers to protect themselves from fraudsters.
