Tackling breast cancer is one of Mike Freer MP's major campaigns - from raising money and awareness, through the annual sponsored London MoonWalk, to securing a new permanent breast screening unit at the Finchley Memorial Hospital - which is due to open later this year.

Each year, Mike supports the ‘Wear It Pink' event in Parliament, organised by the Breast Cancer Now charity, and gets dressed up to raise awareness of the condition and the upcoming national fundraising event; looking silly is all part of the campaign!

This year's national Wear it Pink day will take place on 19.10.18. Get registered, sponsored and wear pink to raise money. Find out how to get involved here: https://www.wearitpink.org/

Awareness of breast cancer is key, especially knowing the early signs and symptoms to look out for. Find out more about breast cancer and the charity’s work at their website: https://breastcancernow.org/
