It was a pleasure to welcome residents from Finchley and Golders Green for my seventh Over 55s Advice and Information Fayre at Golders Green Synagogue today.
The aim of these Fayres is to offer my over-55 constituents the chance to speak to a wide range of statutory, voluntary, and social activity groups that operate locally, in order to show what they have to offer. Residents had the opportunity to hear from over 35 charities and organisations.
Many constituents who contact me are often unaware of organisations that are available to provide help, information, and opportunities, so it is great to get these organisations together in one place for the benefit of the local community.
I would like to say a huge thank you to these organisations for coming along today, as well as for the support they provide to the local area and to my constituents.
The organisations who attended were:
- Age UK Barnet
