Over the course of the week, I held a number of meetings including with Dr Kathie Binysh, Head of Screening at NHS London. We discussed my ongoing campaign for a permanent screening unit at Finchley Memorial Hospital. NHS London are currently evaluating the proposal to see what the likely take-up would be and to examine the hospital’s catchment area. I will be keeping an eye on this issue and will continue to discuss proposals with NHS London. If anyone would like to support my campaign, please do so via the relevant section on my website.
Later that week, I visited the Temple Fortune Health Centre before heading to the Finchley Mosque for one of my regular surgeries. As ever, a wide range of issues was raised which I will be following up on. I also attended a local girls school to discuss the free schools programme and other opportunities.
On Sunday, my Mobile Surgery was out again, this time at the Park Triangle in Golders Green. For further information on where my surgeries will next be, please see the ‘Mobile Surgery’ section of my website.
