On Monday, I had the pleasure of welcoming members of Barnet’s Depala Community to Parliament. Please see the article on my website for further information.
Tuesday kicked off with a meeting with the Housing Ombudsman. I was interested to learn more about their role in adjudicating housing disputes and what assistance they can provide. Later that day, I attended the All Party Parliamentary Group for Tamils. Barnet has a sizable Tamil Community so I try and keep abreast of issues in that regard.
On Wednesday, the House of Commons prorogued. This marks the end of the parliamentary session for the year. Parliament then goes into recess before the Queen’s state opening on June 4.
This week, I hosted an event for the Ango-Iranian Community. I maintain my support for the Iranian Opposition and I’m keen to do what I can to ensure that we keep up the pressure on the Regime.
My Mobile Surgery was again out today in Temple Fortune. Tomorrow, I’ll be in Finchley Central outside Tesco on Ballards Lane, between 9:30 and 11am. No appointment is required for the Mobile Surgery and all constituents are welcome to attend.
