Today, Mike held his fifth Over 55s Advice and Information Fayre at Wessex Gardens Primary School, Golders Green, attended by hundreds of local residents, on 25th October 2019. The event, to which older people from across the area were invited, brought together over twenty-five local and national organisations, including charities, social clubs, the Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade and local authority services.
Commenting, Mike said, “The feedback from constituents and exhibitors has been incredibly positive. Many constituents who contact me as their local MP are unaware of the organisations, both local and national, that are available to help and information available to them. It was fantastic to have such a wide variety of stallholders showing fantastic services and the great work they do for our local community. Thank you to all those who attended my Over 55s Advice and Information Fayre and thanks especially Wessex Gardens Primary School, who kindly hosted us.”
Mike intends to another event in the new year and will let residents know once a date and venue has been selected.
